Connection Zone One-on-One Marketplace Description: The Connection Zone (One-on-One) is an integrative procurement event that brings together corporations and minority business enterprises (MBEs) in focused, one-on-one interviews. MBEs will have the opportunity to participate in interviews, sharing the details of their products and services. Corporate members take advantage of presenting their current and future procurement needs to multiple organizations at one event. This event is pre-scheduled and highly structured, allowing participants to make the most of their 10-minute interviews, with a 5-minute break between each interview.
Corporate Members: We request one or two Purchasing Officers, Buyers, and Decision-Makers from your organization to participate in the one-on-one interviews.
Participating in this event benefits your organization by developing lasting business relationships; saving time with a one-stop access to source many products and service; streamlining the number of suppliers you use to meet your needs; connecting with minority suppliers/vendors that can provide creative solutions to cost savings; and gaining help with your supplier diversity needs – from starting a new supplier diversity program to refining a mature program.
Registration for minority business enterprises (MBE) will be scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis and will be matched based on corporate procurement needs. Advance notice of current bids and contracts available will ensure that the appropriate suppliers/vendors are set up with the appropriate buyers.
