NMSDC’s New Certification Process: What You Need to Know
Since September of 2025, NMSDC rolled out a new and improved certification process to your region. As part of this move, NMSDC transitioned all MBE certifications into a new certification database, The NMSDC Hub at https://thehub.nmsdc.org. That is also where you go to get certified and recertified.
Before you apply for certification, be sure to register and attend our Pre-Certification Webinar. These webinars are available every first Tuesday of the month.

The new system comes with several improvements, including:
- Easier navigation and progress tracking.
- Improved and consistent processing times.
- Enhanced support from dedicated certification specialists at the national office.
- Added ability to update your profile anytime using self-service features.
All MBEs certified before September 15, 2025 should have received login credentials for the new database in an email from “ZohoAdmin” with your new login details and instructions for accessing the database.
The credentials to access The NMSDC Hub will give you access to both the MBE Search Database, where you can find other MBEs to work with, and the new Certification Module. You will only need one ID to access both systems.
If you previously started a Recertification Application but have not paid the fee and submitted it yet, you will need to restart that application in the NMSDC Hub. Recertification Applications that are submitted and are in “edit request” status will be migrated to the new system for the NMSDC Certification team to complete the review.

The Council has decided to wave all late fees for any MBE re certifying within 6 months of certification expiration date.
