Ms. Johnson is a seasoned businesswoman, U.S. Army Veteran, and passionate community advocate based in Denver, Colorado. She is the visionary founder of The Black Business Initiative and CEO of the Economic Development Association for Black Communities (EDABC). With a focus on empowering Black entrepreneurs and fostering economic equity, Jice has spent the past decade creating transformational change through strategic planning, leadership development, and innovative programming. She holds a Master of Science in Organizational Management and Leadership and brings deep expertise in project management, operations, curriculum design, and event planning. Her leadership and impact have been widely recognized, earning her accolades such as the Denver Business Journal’s 40 Under 40 and the Urban Leadership Foundation of Colorado’s Leadership and Legacy Award. Jice is a sought-after speaker on racial equity in business and has been featured in numerous media outlets. Beyond her professional work, she is a proud mother of three and enjoys exploring new destinations—having already visited 37 states in her quest to see all fifty.
