The 2015 Annual Golf Tournament held at Arrowhead, has come and gone leaving behind mere memories of the laughs that were shared and the contacts that were made. Colorado enjoyed a brief reprieve from the unrelenting rain storms that have been frequenting the sun-shine state on the day of the Council’s tournament. One thing is for sure – with all of that rain Arrowhead was looking more beautiful than ever before.
From sunrise to sunset, the day was packed full of activities enjoyed by familiar and new faces alike. Arrowhead’s breakfast burritos were spoken for quicker than they could put them out, as it turns out, many of our golfers look forward to these tasty treats. Hey, whatever makes the 7:20 am tee-off time easier.
Wildlife could be seen on the course as golfers embarked on their day of networking, making for a very serine start to what turned out to be a fantastic day. The Council would like to thank all of the event sponsors who made this year’s tournament a smashing success. In particular we would like to thank MillerCoors for providing the icy cold beer that helped to keep players cool as temperatures soared and created a very-rare humidity issue in the mile high city.
As in previous years, players were painfully close to sinking the hole-in-one shot on Arrowhead’s notorious hole 3 and winning the brand new Mazda sponsored by Mazda of Lakewood. We’ll keep our fingers crossed for next year!
