Stan Sena is President & CEO of the Mountain Plains Minority Supplier Development Council, a 501c(3) corporate member organization that certifies Minority Business Enterprises (MBEs), provides access to certified MBEs to its corporate members, and provides contracting opportunities to its certified MBEs from its corporate members within Colorado, Kansas, Nebraska and Western Missouri.

Mr. Sena was previously Executive Vice President and COO of Americold Corporation, the leading third-party supplier of supply chain solutions in the consumer packaged goods industry.  Americold, with 117 locations in North America, enjoyed sales of over $800 million and an employee base of over 6500. Belinda Hooks

Belinda B. Hooks currently serves as the Market President – Colorado/Nebraska, Mountain Plains MSDC is headquartered in Denver, Colorado.

Prior to her current role, Belinda was President and CEO of a successful promotional marketing and advertising company for 8 years. As a business owner, Belinda received multiple awards including Business Woman of the Year from the Colorado Black Women for Political Action, Advocate of the Year from Minority Enterprise and Educational Development and Supplier of the Year by the Rocky Mountain Supplier Development Council. Belinda has also worked in management positions in both corporate and government entities. Marvin Lyman

Growing up east of Kansas City’s racial dividing line, Marvin Lyman understands many of the issues facing America. Whether they are the nuances of race and class, underemployment and unemployment, courageous entrepreneurship, access to capital, connecting with corporate supply opportunities, or urban and rural development, Marvin identifies, educates, and inspires through his experience.

Having attended Kansas City’s premier public school, Lincoln College Preparatory Academy, he took advantage of this foundation and received his Bachelor’s Degree from St. Cloud State University along with the highly coveted SCSU Excellence in Leadership Award. He was selected as a Congressional Intern through the Washington Center for Internships and was a Governor’s National Leadership Fellow at Ferris State University. Winning many awards along the way, Marvin is most proud of fathering his daughters and godson whom have tremendously blessed his life. Andrew Portee

Andrew Portee has resided in Colorado for the past 30 years. He has been serving the capacity as a leader in the community through his affiliation with a few churches. Andrew is a graduate from Colorado Christian University where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Organizational Management with emphasis in Christian Leadership.
He brings a wealth of knowledge and experience from the Banking, Finance and Insurance industry. Andrew is a 23 Year Veteran and former VP of Business Banking for major national and regional banks including BBVA Compass, US Bank, Wells Fargo, Key and recently UMB Bank.
He led the Business Development efforts for Alternative Funding Partners. Andrew is also an Independent Insurance Broker for Group Insurance Analyst Risk Management, where he brokers Property & Casualty, Life & Health & Business Insurance.
Andrew specializes in networking and consulting which is his key ingredient to his success. He’s an expert at developing long-term relationships with Centers of Influence with solid results. He enjoys connecting with people and being a resource to those he come in contact.
Andrew is passionate about being a strong supporter and role model for his daughter Armanni, who attends college at University of Northern Colorado where she will pursue a degree in Nursing.

Esteban Romero

Business Development & MBE Services Manager

Esteban Romero has been an active member of Colorado’s multicultural community for more than 20 years. Currently, he is a board member of the Denver Philharmonic Orchestra as well as Opportunity Collision. In addition, his active participation in the Nathan Yip Foundation, CWEE, and being a member of the University Club allows him to expand his involvement in local minority activities and other business networks. With a Bachelor of Science in Global Perspective, Minor in International Business, a graduate of Leadership Program of the Rockies and Impact Denver, these experiences have furthered his knowledge in helping the minority community. Esteban has always been passionate about his work with SMB and the Colorado community. His experience at the U.S. Postal Service, Union Steward at the NALC, and Colorado Hispanic Chamber of Commerce has allowed him to better serve the community. In his free time, he is an avid outdoorsman and equine enthusiast.

Randy McCall joined the staff of the MBDA Center in Denver as the Executive Director in August of 2016. The Denver MBDA Business Center is one of 40 national centers under the Department of Commerce’s Minority Business Development Agency. Mr. McCall was a corporate executive in the banking industry for over 40 years and has extensive experience in community development and engagement, relationship building, and financial management.

Marjorie Williams

Marjorie Williams is currently, a business consultant at Minority Business Development Agency Colorado Business Center.  Marjorie is a retired Civil Service employee of 32 years   Her expertise and career encompassed the contracting arena.

As an unlimited warranted contracting officer, her duties included oversight, management, and program direction of information management/information technology systems and programs.  She Also served as warranted contracting officer and flight chief responsible for all aspects of contract administration including pre-award and post-award activities of a variety of complex multi-billion dollar contracts and performed full range of pre-award and post-award functions, including analyzing, negotiating, settling and executing contractual agreements.  She developed, implemented and reviewed contracting plans for pre-award, post-award, price/cost analysis and a wide variety of procurement activities. – 303-623-3037 ext. 206


Stella Mirembe

Business Consultant 

Stella Mirembe is a Business Consultant whose role is to improve enterprises by reviewing business operations and recommending calculated solutions. Her special area of expertise is business development, policy creation, preparation and interpretation of technical and financial proposals, dynamic networking, establishment of connections with strategic partners and resources, business recovery assistance, overseeing new marketing initiatives, sales forecasting and researching new opportunities. In her recent experience as a Business Development Consultant, her duties included but were not limited to strategic plan development, lobbying, development of a retainer strategies, designing and implementing of business growth tools, bid management,  conducting online surveys, organizational portfolio development, national content management, research and establishment of a marketing plan, proposal writing, mentoring, Quality Control, social media management, data collection, entry & analysis and budget control & evaluation. She has gained excellent verbal and written communication skills, great interpersonal skills, complex project management, assessing of social and economic impacts of business activities on the environment, considerable general business knowledge and strong problem-solving skills. As a consultant for the Mountain Plain Minority Supplier Development Council, Stella will utilize her unique skill set to guide MBEs to greater success.
