MBE Orientation Goals:

  • What is the Council?
  • How do Corporate Members and MBE’s form partnerships?
  • What Council resources are available to promote business opportunities?

The MBE Orientation is held every quarter by the Council to introduce newly certified Minority Business Enterprises (MBEs) to our organization and educate currently certified MBEs on the resources available through the Council. Some of the topics included in this presentation are: a history of the organization, how to leverage the MBE certification, what services are available through the Council as part of the Subscription Services, how to do business with Corporate Members, and how to do business with other certified MBEs. Guest speakers from Corporate Member organizations are invited to attend and present as time and availability permits.

2016 Pre-Certification Workshops:

The Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) Certification with the Mountain Plains Minority Supplier Development Council puts your company at the forefront of corporate entities all over the country, as it is a nationally recognized certification. Come learn about the benefits and services associated with certifying; and receive instructional insight on completing the MBE Certification application. Learn how to strategically utilize your MBE Certification at this upcoming orientation.We’ll also discuss the re-certification process. Currently certified and newly certified MBEs are strongly encouraged to attend. The Mountain Plains Council has a plethora of services to help you get the most out of your certification, including educational workshops, access to business consulting, and relationship building activities.
