The Mountain Plains Minority Supplier Development Council hosts several fundraising events each year throughout the Council’s region:

Annual Golf Tournaments
Colorado – June 17, 2016
Kansas City – June 28, 2016
Nebraska – August 25th

Annual golf tournaments are held in all regions of the Mountain Plains MSDC’s region. These tournaments/outings provide Corporate members and MBEs of the Council and opportunity to network on and off the green for a full day at Arrowhead Golf Course in Colorado, Willow Bend in Kansas City, Tiburon Golf Course in Nebraska and Shoal Creek Golf Course in Wichita, KS! The unique golf courses that have been selected offer the ideal setting for our corporate members and MBE constituents to forge new relationships and stay connected with one another. Players of all skill levels are welcome to join in the activities and player slots sell out fast ever year. Golf carts, mulligan tickets, raffle prizes, and a special luncheon program will be available at the events.

Business Opportunity Exchange

The Business Opportunity Exchange (BOE) is intended to provide significant opportunities for the corporate members of the Mountain Plains MSDC and the MBEs certified by the Mountain Plains MSDC to strengthen its current business relationships and to forge new and beneficial relationships. Booths are available for purchase to our Corporate Members and certified MBEs to exhibit during the trade fair portion of the BOF. Additionally, one-on-one sessions with buyers from participating Corporate Members may be scheduled prior to the event during the Connection Zone taking place during the trade fair.

Additionally, one-on-one sessions with buyers from participating Corporate Members may be scheduled prior to the event during the Power Pavilion taking place during the trade fair.

Business Alliance Forum
September 1, 2016

The Business Alliance Forum is a full day event designed to provide educational workshops and recognize the accomplishments of Mountain Plains MSDC certified MBEs and Corporate Members during the Awards Luncheon. The Conference will be held on Thursday, September 1, 2016 at the Denver PPA Event Center in Denver, Colorado. For the price of admission, attendees are given access to an informative plenary session discussing trends in minority business with speakers from Fortune 500 and 1,000 companies during breakfast, new and exciting workshops tailed specifically for this event to grow your business, and the Awards Luncheon recognizing exemplary individuals and companies within the Colorado, Kansas, Nebraska, and Missouri regions. Over 200 individuals and businesses attended the packed workshops presented by MBEs and Corporate Members in 2015.

Minority Enterprise & Supplier Diversity Expo

The Minority Enterprise & Supplier Diversity Expo (ME Expo) is a first time event taking place in Omaha, NE. The ME Expo provides significant opportunities for the corporate members of the Mountain Plains MSDC and the MBEs certified by the Mountain Plains MSDC to strengthen its current business relationships and to forge new and beneficial relationships. Booths are available for purchase to our Corporate Members and certified MBEs to exhibit during the trade fair portion of the ME Expo. Additionally, one-on-one sessions with buyers from participating Corporate Members may be scheduled prior to the event during the Power Pavilion taking place during the trade fair.
