December 17th, at the KCP&L Energy Center, the MPMSDC partied with a purpose in Kansas City, during our annual Holiday Bash as we collected and distributed items of need to benefit City Union Mission, a local charity dedicated to administering faith-based outreach services to poverty-stricken and homeless men, women, and children. We were merry and jolly while tapping our feet to the sultry serenades of Eboni Fondren and The Ivories, who in true Kansas City jazz style ushered in the spirit of the holidays through songs such as “Santa Baby” and “I’m Dreaming of a White Christmas”…while the Elf on the Shelf didn’t stop by this year, the photo booth was all the rave and apparently a lot like Vegas, “What was captured in the photo booth, stays in the photo booth”.  We are thankful to our sponsors for their continued support (use logos) Burns & McDonnell; CenturyLink; Commercial Lithographing; Hallmark Cards; and KCP&L

Don’t miss the 2016 Holiday Bash, mark your calendars now for December 8th!
