Dr. Dred Scott
President/CEO
Boys & Girls Club of Greater Kansas City
Dr. Dred Scott was born and raised in Kansas City, Missouri.  He graduated from Bishop Hogan High School, which was a small Catholic high school in the inner-city. Dr. Scott obtained an undergraduate degree from Southwest Missouri State University in Springfield, MO.  Later, he obtained a master’s degree in school administration from Central Missouri State University and earned a doctorate in educational leadership at Baker University.                                                 

Dr.Kenny Rodrequez
Superintendent
Grandview C-4 School District

He was selected to create and implement the first Early College High School program in Tulsa through a partnership with Tulsa Community College. He directed the Tulsa Innovative School network, which served 1,200 plus students in grades K-12, and served as a lead examiner for the Oklahoma Quality Award Foundation, based upon the Baldrige improvement process.

In both Oklahoma and Missouri, he has done extensive work on the implementation of new teacher evaluation systems in an effort to raise academic achievement and build collaborative relationships between teachers and administrators.

Dr. Rodrequez has a Bachelors degree from Oklahoma State University in Music Education, a Master of Science degree from Oklahoma State University in School Leadership, and completed his Doctorate degree from Baker University in School Administration.

He has been happily married for more than 25 years to his wife Tracie. They have two wonderful children, Izzy and Jackson.

                                          

Dr. Yolanda Cargile
Superintendent
Hickman Mills C-1 (HMC-1) School District.
Dr. Yolanda Cargile, currently serves as Superintendent of Schools for the Hickman Mills C-1 (HMC-1) School District.
Dr. Cargile is a Missouri native, in fact she attended schools in the HMC-1 district and graduated from Ruskin High School. Dr. Cargile has stated,
“I feel a great sense of pride as it is truly an honor to be selected as the superintendent of Hickman Mills C-1 School District.
Linda Quinley
Cheif Finance Officer
Kansas City Public Schools

Linda Quinley has served as the Chief Financial and Operations Officer for Kansas City Public Schools since 2017. Before that, she was with Columbia Public Schools for 11 years, serving originally as the Director of Business Services and then as Chief Financial and Operations Officer. She has also served as the Treasurer of the CPS Board of Education. During her time at CPS, Linda helped lead successful campaigns for two operating levies and five bond elections. After earning a bachelor’s degree in accounting from William Woods University, she started her career at a regional Certified Public Accounting firm, serving clients ranging from local business to not-for-profits and corporations. She worked her way up to management positions in the banking and insurance industries. Linda and her husband have owned small, local grocery and hardware retail stores, giving her the perspective of the small business taxpayers who support their community and schools through property taxes, programs and partnerships. She and her family have lived in Missouri nearly their entire lives and raised two sons here.

Dr. Charles Foust, the Superintendent of Schools, Kansas City, Kansas Public Schools (KCKPS), is
a leader in transformational education, guiding leaders to improve education so that students receive a quality education daily. He is a certified practicing leader with hands-on experience developing staff, teachers and school leaders guided by the conviction that leading is about simultaneously improving individual lives, transforming systems and in turn, achieving lasting social and academic change.

 Connection Zone For Corporate Members:

The Connection Zone (One-on-One) is an integrative procurement event that brings together corporations and minority business enterprises (MBEs) in focused, one-on-one interviews. MBEs will have the opportunity to participate in interviews, sharing the details of their products and services. Corporate members take advantage of presenting their current and future procurement needs to multiple organizations at one event. This event is pre-scheduled and highly structured, allowing participants to make the most of their 10-minute interviews, with a 5-minute break between each interview.

Connection Zone Information For MBEs:

The 2019 Connection Zone will host buyers with over $200M in MBE spend!

Each Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) can register up to five 10-minute interviews. Registration for certified minority-owned businesses will be held on a first-come, first-served basis. The MPMSDC will make every effort to provide advanced notice of current bids and contracts available to ensure that the appropriate suppliers/vendors are set up with the appropriate buyers. Upon completion of registration, you will receive your entrance ticket. Reserve your spot today!
